What is life like living in Yellowknife, NWT?
I am planning to move to Yellowknife, NWT this summer and have heard some great and some not-so-great things about that city. I really want somebody that lives there to tell me the honest truth (good or bad) about living there. Do you need a car there? What is the shopping like? I am a teacher, would I get a good job up there? How much on average does it cost to rent a 2 bedroom apartment? Where will I be able to do grocery shopping? How cold does it REALLY get up there? Etc.
