Motherboard question? Help i’m clueless! Pls!?
Allrighty, i’ve got a broken motherboard, here’s the link to the one i’ve got: http://www.eprom.com/home/Microstar/ms7008_lsr.htm
Now, i need a replacement, a cheap one. This is the one i found on newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157115
My question is…: Can I switch to this motherboard with the same RAM, CPU, and graphics card (and all the other cords i’m using now)? I hope this one is half decent for games, because i heard the one i have no isn’t meant for them…anyways, here’s the rest of my specs:
Intel Pentium 4 2.66GHz
2GB PC3200 DDR400 Ram
Sapphire X1650 pro 512mb AGP
350w PSU
Other comments : I don’t have much more money than this, i just boguht the graphics card so not switchin to pci-e 
, All i want to do is buy a motherboard and just reconnect everything to the same place (more or less) and boom boom back into my games!

That motherboard won’t work. You old motherboard is a socket 478 motherboard. The one you listed there is a socket 775 motherboard. The CPU won’t work with that motherboard (if it even fits in the socket). You need a socket 478 motherboard. The only motherboard that Newegg has in the 478 socket is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138079 I personally hate Biostar. Their products are pieces of sh .. sh .. sh .. stuff that smells bad. The next thing may be that even after you replace the motherboard, the system may not boot until you reinstall the operating system .. assuming you have the CDs to do that of course. The low-level drivers on your hard disk may not work well enough with the new board. If you can find a board that has a VIA PT800 northbridge chipset and a VIA VT8237 southbridge chipset (like your old MSI motherboard had), you’re chances of success will be much higher.
